I am super excited about today's podcast episode because it's our very first episode with a guest interview!


Today's podcast guest is an absolute ray of sunshine, and I couldn't think of a more perfect person to have as our first guest. Rachel White is a Soul Coach, Yogi, Author and the host of The Gentle Podcast.


Rachel creates space for gentle healing and thriving. Her coaching programs, online yoga and everything she does, is created from her soul with the intention of connecting woman with their own inner light so they can shine as their most vibrant self.


In this episode we're talking all about finding your inner light to build your self-confidence, how everything you need is already within you, Rachel's story to becoming a coach and writing a book in just six weeks and so much more.

At the moment I run my own online business as a soul coach, running online yoga classes and I just wrote and published my first book.


Everything I'm doing is with the intention to create a sacred space for healing and thriving, everything is created with that mission so we can do our souls work to live our best lives here on earth.


Rachel's Story


Growing up I felt an enormous amount of pressure to achieve a lot of things. I think it was a lot of pressure that I put on myself but also external things that made me feel like I had to be the best at everything which led to some amazing opportunities, however, no matter how my life looked from the outside looking in, I just felt unfilled.


I felt like there was always something I had to consistently race against time. There weren't a lot of moments I really slowed down and enjoyed.


I was an accountant for almost eight years and on the side, I was doing yoga teaching and coaching and last year I got to my breaking point where I decided enough was enough. I didn't want to continue in my 9-5 in an accounting firm, so I quit everything.


I was lucky enough to have the support of my family to really rebuild my life into something that feels aligned and from my soul.


Gentle healing, thriving and doing your souls work


When I talk about being gentle it's about letting go of force.


When we feel like we're forcing things, that is the first sign that we're doing something that is out of alignment and that it's not something our inner light really wants us to be doing. Challenges might come up when we're doing our soul work but you will still feel aligned and as if you're taking action.


If something is not aligned it will just constantly feel like a struggle and so to be gentle is to release the force and focus on taking aligned action instead.


Our life doesn't change in big leaps, it changes in small consistent steps.

When we take the little gentle actions it will always feel good, even if it's a little bit challenging, we're just moving forward through action.


Don't get overwhelmed by the bigger picture, break your goals or your dreams down into small consistent steps.


Sometimes we future trip so badly that we look at this thing that we want so badly and think we have no idea how to achieve it, but we don't need to know-how. We just have to keep moving forward taking one action step at a time.


The present moment is all there is.


We have everything we need to move through the moment we're in, we only become undone when we think too far ahead.

Everything you need is within you.

Actionable steps to move through low self-esteem or lack of confidence


All you have to do is jump on social media to see there are people struggling with low self-esteem and lack of confidence and this happens when we're not connected to our inner light or our soul. This is what I love about yoga is that it's the union of the mind, body and soul.


Sometimes we give too much energy to our body or to our mind but when we create that union we're able to see how powerful we truly are. When we tune into that power and we're doing the purpose of our soul there's no reason to ever not feel confident.


The action to tune into that power is understanding that every single belief that we have, we choose to believe it and so being considerate of the things you tell yourself.
